During Winter 2025 I will take a "break" to complete my Swiss Federal Exam and get qualified as International Mountain Leader.
Here below my NEW proposal for Summer 2026 treks!
The mountains can teach us about the history and evolution of our earth, our atmosphere and its recent changes, small and delicate ecosystems, even reveal past events.
"Via Alpina" project was born in 1999 by the association "Grande Traversée des Alpes" (in coordination across Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Slovenia, Switzerland).
My 2026 multi day treks are focused on the Bernese Alps (see below: Section 1, 2 and 3), though I am proposing some variations to the official Via Alpina route, to deeper explore the region and the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO site.
Join me and experience "the power of water", its interaction with gorges, glaciers, nature and human activities!
Note:
In most cases the arrival point is different from the departure point. The goal is to enjoy the most when being outdoors, with the possibility to customize the trek routes. For these reasons no fixed end time is listed, suggesting to avoid cars and rather relying on Swiss public transportation for a more flexible experience.
